Bridge as a Fashion Model Competition 2025: A Celebration of County Bridges
Dynamic Infrastructure invited county engineers to showcase the beauty and significance of their local bridges. We encouraged participants to capture not only the architectural beauty, structural integrity, or scenic environment, but also the unique perspective of those who care for these essential structures.
The response was impressive, with 23 counties submitting photos that highlighted the dedication and craftsmanship behind these vital pieces of infrastructure.
The Winners
The competition culminated in a celebration of these remarkable structures and the people who maintain them at the National Association of County Engineers (NACE) Annual Conference.
The first-place winner, Champaign County, Illinois, stood out for its captivating beauty and its authentic portrayal of the bridge as seen through the eyes of its caretaker.
Second place was shared by Buchanan County, Iowa, with the Fontana Park Bridge, and Galveston, Texas, whose stunning photo truly captured a “model moment.”
In third place, Marathon County, Wisconsin, presented a breathtaking view of the Dells of Eau Claire Bridge, a beautiful blend of past and present.
